25 icons from KinnPorsche The Series .



For ROUND 18: EPISODIC @ somein30  , I chose KinnPorsche , which has been my obsession for the last 7 months. This series has 14 episodes and one Side story episode which is considered as episode 6.5 in continuity and I chose the Extra Hard mode.


Since this is a continuity round , I made 15 icons to be on the safe side. Icons are arranged according to episode numbers. 

Also, please note some icons ( 4 and 11 to be precise ) are kind of NSFW. The show itself is quite adult themed and meant for 21 + age group as specified by the makers.

Theme explanations :

It goes without saying that the explanations are majorly spoilery. * Cracks knuckles for long babble *

1. Arch Relevance ( 6)  - The most important and game changer scene of the show is the 1st meet of the leads, which is basically the turning point of the entire show and their entire lives. So , I went with their iconic 1st meet.

2. Favourite Scene (2)  - Kinn took it upon himself to get his newly appointed extremely handsome ;) bodyguard party ready and of course get mesmerized by his beauty and felt butterflies in his stomach as he looked at Porsche through the mirror , as they exchanged an elctrifying eyelock in the mirror of the trial room.

3. Underrated scene ( 9 ) - A scene that maynot have any wide significance or importance in the story telling , but I found it really hot when we got to see the glimpse of ruthless mafia king Kinn when he went to torture the man who has betrayed him. The power and danger he exuded naturally yet effectively was delicious to watch.

4. Most Known for (8) - It's the circumstances and atmosphere leading to and surrounding the leads when they slept together for the first time and it's probably one of the most controversial yet beautiful part of the entire show. Those who have watched the show will know why! ;)

5. Random scene (10 ) - The randomiser picked 16 , which is in the top 3 most heartwrenching and memorable moments of , not just the episode, but the show itself. Should make it easy to icon it, right ?? But not really, as each and every frame and show of that 60 seconds deserved to be iconned and just choosing one shot was painful and hard. It's the moment of Porsche's breakdown in the washroom .

6. Character development (7 ) - Kinn apologizing to Porsche, for the 3nd time and this time, with no bullshit, directly , decisively and completely heartfelt and genuine. A true mark of character development.

7 . Aka the side story . Favorite interaction ( 3 ) - Porsche placing his head on Kinn's lap and basking in the security and warmth of each other's presence. The sweetness of the scene will give you diabetes.

8. Plot ( 5 ) - Vegas and Kinn confrontation in the end , which nicely sets off their rivalry and Vegas going off for his plan B and eventual try to take over .

9. Favourite quote ( 4 ) - Kinn pulling Porsche's leg while voicing his secret desire to bring their relationship into the light of the world.

10. Plot (5 ) - Obviously many things happened and it's beyond the scope of one icon to depict that , but maybe the most significant one that caused the most amount of online outrage against Kinn is when he got Porsche arrested under suspect of treason ( but , did he though ! ;) ) .

11. Favorite scene (2) - After they made up , the lovers are basking casually in the shared after glow and presence of other , caressing their lover tenderly, reverently . Beautiful scene.

12. Underrated (9) - Bodyguard buddies of Porsche living their best Wattpad fanfiction era ! Hilarious scene !

13. MVP character - For me, the true MVP of the episode is Kim , who literally stole the show in the pub scene, when he showed up to protect his love and the sheer terror he can effortlessly inflict on his opponents by mere look. Truly Kinn's little brother!

14. Favorite scene (3) - I chose a scene that has Vegas and Porsche running away on a bike from their actual loves , Kinn and Pete. It's amazing that it happened twice in the show ! NGL, I did ship Vegas x Porsche to some extent. The actors have excellent chemistry , though somewhat less than the leads.

15. Favorite quote (4) - "All my life is all yours. "  "I promise I'll always treasure it." And thus ends the epic saga of KinnPorsche's love story. * Sobs in the pillow, while preparing for another rewatch. *

I love the moments you chose, and your explanations for all the themes. <3

My faves are 4 (sexy coloring and captures the scene really well), 5 (awesome coloring again, and I love Porsche's facial expression in the cap you finally chose - I can imagine this must have been really hard! But you got lucky with the random minute, just like I did! ;)), 8 (awesome bold coloring and rough texturing, perfectly fitting for Vegas), 12 (cuuute!), and 14 (great and very funny composition :D).

Ooh this is such a cool set! I don't know anything about this show but I read all the explanations anyway (I just love reading about people's inspirations and processes, it helps me understand the depth in the icons) and it's clear you put a LOT of thought into all the interpretations, and the explained thought is clearly present in each icon; great job!

The second icon is very cute and makes their chemistry obvious even to a non-watcher :)
5 looks very intense with the coloring and contrast, and by the sound of it that is perfect for an intense scene! The lighting is absolutely gorgeous too, as is the crop. Awesome icon.
10 is SUPER cool, love the composition (so creative with the "floating" characters and silhouettes), the lighting and coloring look lovely too.
11 looks serene indeed, beautiful vibe, loving all the lightiness and brightness, what a spectacular composition to with really nice text use in the middle!
12 is another great one, the coloring, contrast and lighting are on point, and this looks like a fun scene :)

Thanks so much for entering somein30, and of course, the other icons are lovely too! Some of my favorites are 16 (great text use and coloring), 17 (clean, clear color combination!) and 24 (love the pastelly negative space with great texture use).

You've great eyes to pick up details from an icon and it makes me sometimes look at them from a new vantage point. 2 - I love texture use, soft contrast and the lighting<3
4&5 I love how powerful these are and how the fire hit his face on 5!
7 - I love the soft contrast so much and the crop
8 - This has powerful feeling and I love the crop!
11 - Wonderful levels work! Beautiful text and colors.
13 - I love the strong blue coloring and texture use, so amazing! Text is so cool!
14 - The negative space is spectacular, love the red color and the lighting is gorgeous<3
